A Brief Introduction About Us

Little Flower Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pushpagiri, Choozhal, is run by Sisters of the Daughters of Mary Congregation. St. Joseph Province Marthandam. This congregation was found by Rev. Fr. Msg. Joseph Kuzhinjalil the born servant of God in the year 1938.

Our school is located on the main road spread over verdant acres with lot of free space and greenery inspires love for nature in anyone who walks through our doors. From herbal garden to native trees our campus is an eco-friendly green and clean campus with breathing walls which ensures conductive learning environment.

It has spacious classrooms and learning corners with hazel free walk through corridors and steps. Individualized learning hubs, common activity zones, and enough sports facilities ensure that children develop holistically to their highest potential – whether it is academically, cognitively, emotionally, creatively or socially. Chemistry Lab

Biology laboratory is well equipped with a vast collection of specimens catering to Botany and Zoology curriculum. The activities are planned to develop scientific inquiry, observational skills and to get answers for their probing questions

Physics Lab

It is designed to give practice of taking measurements, analyzing data and drawing inferences while the students experiment. The lab is quite spacious and very well ventilated to ensure proper availability of light in it.

Computer Lab

The computer lab serves as the center for teaching computer use to whole classes, usually by a specialist computer teacher. Classroom teachers also use the lab with their classes for research, or for creating technology-based projects.

Smart Class

Smart Class provides teachers with instant access to multimedia content and instruction materials. It also enables teachers to instantly access and evaluate the learning achieved by their students in class with innovative use of technology.

Transport

Our School is providing a completely facilitated bus services covering the entire city of Choozhal, Kollemcode, Kaliyakkavilai, Nithiravilai with different stops at regular and punctual time intervals for picking up students and teachers.

Sports

We train are Shuttle, Basketball, Tennis, Coco, Kabadi, Throw ball, Volley ball, Chess and Carom. They are trained even in athletic events like running, jumping, hurdles, discuss, shot put and javelin.

Library

We provided sufficient first aid kit and sick rooms for the needy ones. If the child is seriously ill he / she is taken to nearby hospitals and immediately parents are informed.

Garden and Park

School gardens are a wonderful way to use the schoolyard as a classroom, reconnect students with the natural world and the true source of their food, and teach them valuable gardening with personal and social responsibility.
